The Matterhorn comes from Africa!




The philatelic bureau of Switzerland has successfully tried their fantastic idea to get new motives for their stamps created by the popularly known entertainers like actors, musicians, singers etc. who are not outspoken artists, but also those who have developed talents to draw and to paint! For example Stephan Eicher is a musician. He has painted a colourful map of Africa, but when held up-side-down it looks very much similar to Matterhorn! (Fig.8 & 9).
