The very first stamp with a doll as
a theme, however made its debut in 1983 (Fig. 1), the others follow in the year
1986 (Fig.2). Still another that followed in 2012 shows a girl playing with her
doll (Fig. 3). This was also the theme on the stamp-booklet (Fig. 4).
Traditional historic dolls were represented on a series of Welfare Stamp Series
of Germany issued for Federal Republic of Germany and West Berlin in the year
1968.
