There are several manufacturers of postage meters. The manufacturers can be identified by the letter in the frank. Below, is a list of manufacturers. This list is not exhaustive. A – Frama, H – Stielow, K – Telefrank, M – Mailit. The following depicted commercial meter stamp used by the Roads Construction Office of Osnabrück indicates that the office used a Frama postage meter.
