COULD THESE BE THE FORERUNNERS OF TODAY'S MAXIMUM CARDS?

The idea behind Maximum Card is not at all so old. It is taken for granted that the picture postcard with the simple reproduction of a black/white photograph showing that reputed Gizeh Pyramid in the desert of Egypt, to which a simple definitive postage stamp worth 2 Paras (in green, also showing the pyramid at Gizeh) was affixed and the same was obliterated by the simple round date obliterator of 1902 (see pic.1) were the essential "requisites" formed the very first maximum card as its preliminary version. It is still regarded as the Classical Maximum Card.

How to make award winning exhibits - Some useful tips for "Developing an Exhibit" by Suraj Jaitly

We have had articles on plans, presentation and different types of items; even touched on the new innovation criteria, but one area where there still appears to be a problem and most of exhibitors do not properly attend is Development of the theme.
Part of Treatment, this entails writing your stories, with a beginning, middle- and the end-piece and making sure that the whole makes sense and covers exactly, what you wish to say without unnecessary repetition and covering every aspect of your title and plan.
When you have achieved this, study your stamps and other items which you have and place all these on the pages as close to the relevant text as possible, making sure that these items really do reflect the text. Behind this in its entirety, main motto should be, "Say what you show and show what you say".
